FG Wilson is pleased to announce the appointment of Rene Ludvik as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Electric Power Division - a newly created role designed to drive strategic integration and global growth. Rene will spearhead efforts to unify MWM and FG Wilson into a cohesive, global organisation.
Since joining Caterpillar in 2023, Rene has demonstrated exceptional leadership and industry expertise. His extensive background spans engineering, project management, and direct-to-customer sales, complemented by deep market knowledge, global perspective, and multilingual fluency. These qualities position Rene perfectly to lead this next chapter for FG Wilson.
This appointment marks a pivotal moment for FG Wilson, following its successful restructuring and renewed focus as a leading provider of electric power solutions.
In addition, Andy Law, FG Wilson’s current General Manager, will transition to the role of Marine Vice President and General Manager within Caterpillar’s Oil & Gas and Marine Division (COGMD), effective October 1, 2025. A successor for Andy will be announced soon, alongside the introduction of a newly created Commercial Director position at FG Wilson. This role will concentrate on emerging growth opportunities and report directly to Rene Ludvik.
