On-Site Training For Autex Delegation

The pro-activity displayed by FG Wilson's worldwide network of 370 Dealers was once again evident this week when a delegation from Autex, our official Latvian Dealer, travelled to Northern Ireland for intensive product training.

Andris Tigeris, Donatas Klimanskis and Martins Poema participated in training on the FG Wilson 1100 Series range (24-220 kVA). The group also expanded their knowledge of control panels and alternators.

The training was delivered by John Murray (web based systems), Michael Swann (1100 Series range) and Robert Brown (control panels and alternators) took place in FG Wilson's Headquarters in Belfast. The final day, before returning home to Latvia, they were given a two hour tour of the world-class production facilities in Larne by Clive Millen and John Jeffery, one of FG Wilson's world-class production facilities which are also located in Brazil, China, India and the USA. The most recent of these is the state-of-the-art Asia Power Systems (APS) facility in Tianjin, China, which was established in 2009 to meet growing production requirements.

Commenting on the training, Andris Tigeris said:

"It was a great experience to come and see first-hand the outstanding FG Wilson facilities in Belfast and Larne. Myself and the Autex team benefitted greatly from the hands-on training we received and I know that we will be able to use this knowledge to boost the service we offer customers. We would encourage Dealers across the world to experience this training."

"I am very satisfied with our visit and it gave me confidence that FG Wilson training can share their technical knowledge, not just for our experts but also for our sales managers to get a better understanding about the FG Wilson product. Now I will plan our next training session for the Autex Service Team to raise the level of knowledge in the generator set sector and prepare them to be more confident at sites solving problems."

FG Wilson works in close partnership with its 370 Dealers to provide customers with a complete end-to-end power solution, from initial assessment of power needs through to implementation of a solution and an ongoing technical support service.
